ADD-ON INFOZ

Below are links to the two mods you must have installed and running if you intend to raid, assuming you want to be eligible for the sexy lootz:

EPGP:

http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/epgp-dkp-reloaded.aspx

EPGP Lootmaster:

http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/epgp_lootmaster.aspx

Moving forward they are required mods in order to be eligible for lootz. If you do not have them installed you will not receive loot.

With the mods also comes a timer on loot. You have 60 seconds to make your decision on all the gear that's dropped. It is your job to be familiar with upgrades for both your main and offspecs and be ready with that information. If the 60 seconds pass and you have not pushed a button, you will auto pass. If you push a button, you may win and will be charged GP. There are no oopsies or take backs as that item will already be in your bag.

EXPLANATION OF THE SYSTEM

Effort Points = EP(numerical ratio of how much time you are raiding/standby)
Gear Points = GP (numerical ratio of gear items)
Priority Ratio = PR (EP/GP=PR ratio we use to see who has the first choice on an item)

Here are the numbers we will be using. I'll try to explain each setting and will answer questions if anyone has any.

Base GP: 200

Base Gear points exist so that new members or members that haven't raiding in a long while cannot take loot away from raiders by having 0 gear points or near that. With 0 gear points and any effort points at all, you have infinite PR.

This number will never decay and your "effective GP" will be base GP plus current GP.

Minimum EP: 2,000

This is a number you must exceed in order to have your PR get full value. If your EP is lower than 2,000, you cannot win a piece of gear over someone who has an EP higher than 2,000 even if your PR is higher. The website/mod will rank accordingly.

Decay: 25%

We are starting at 25% decay. Decay is here to do just that. If you don't spend your points during the week, you get hit harder with the decay on Tuesday. If you don't spend another whole week, you get hit even harder. You will not be rewarded for hording your points

Effort Points:

You will be awarded 50 EP every 30 minutes of raid time.

You will be awarded 100 EP for being at the zone and ready to go at the raid start time.

You will be awarded an additional 100 EP for staying until the end of the raid. You can only qualify for this bonus if you joined the raid (or standby) within 90 minutes of start time and stayed for the remainder of the raid until called by the raid leader.

Additional EP can be awarded for extraordinary efforts or circumstances at the GM's discretion.

STANDBY

Standbys will receive 100% of the EP that a raider receives as long as they are also available for the duration. Standbys can receive on time points, end time points and the periodic raid points as long as they are on Ventrilo and in game either on main or alt, available to replace within 5 minutes. This is optional. If you don't make the raid and want to go play with Bobby Jr., that's your call. If you want to be available as a replacement and earn EP, your call as well.

In order to use the Standby option, you must whisper the lootmaster of the raid this exactly if you are on your main:

EPGP standby

If you want to be on an alt and join standby for your main, you whisper this:

epgp standby <your main toon’s name>

Example: /w macula epgp standby Riach

Every 30 minutes an announcement will go to guild awarding Effort points and reminding standby players to re-whisper the lootmaster. You must re-whisper every 30 minutes to continue to earn standby EP. You can be on an alt or main doing whatever you like in game, just make sure you continue whispering every 30 minutes and are available quickly if needed.

Standby players will be eligible for the on time and end time bonuses with the same restrictions as raiders have shown above.

Gear Points

GP are already assigned to gear and are static. How that pricing is determined can be found here

Offspec:
Offspec items will be charged 0GP. In order to be eligible to offspec items you must be approved by the officers. The only people approved at this time for this roll are the main tanks of the guild. Items rolled for under this offspec rule many NEVER be used for mainspec. If the item is ever used as mainspec you will be charged double GP for that item.

Fiddling:
If all raiders pass mainspec and offspec, the item will be open to those that selected ‘Fiddle’ from the EPGP UI. There are two restrictions on fiddle rolls; you must be able to use it and you must be of the Raider rank. There is no GP charge for fiddle rolls. Fiddles are not allowed on class specific items if it is for your main spec (Totems, Librams, Sigils, etc). If you are upset that you lost an item to fiddle then you should have main spec rolled on the item.

Fiddle is not to be used if you are the only member of the raid that is able to use the item and the item is a obvious upgrade for you (ie the item needs to be a side grade). The purpose of the EPGP system is to try and distribute the loot fairly. If we feel you are abusing/exploiting the system a discussion will be held and if we still feel you are exploiting the system you will be charged double normal GP for that item.

MISCELLANEOUS RULES

1. Gear that can be DPS or Healer Items... They are eligible for greed roll IF your off-spec applies. If the loot officer feels you are trying to get around/cheat the design of the EPGP system by rolling offspec/greed they will handle the situation as needed.

2. When downing a boss and you happen to want two items for which you are the highest PR... It is YOUR responsibility to let the Loot Master know which item you want. If you don't, then the Loot Master will go about his business and not be responsible for you missing out on the piece of gear that you needed/wanted more.

4. If an item has MP5 or its proc is based for heals, all healers have priority for this item. If an item has Hit or its proc is based on damaging spells, DPS casters have priority for this item.

5. Classes that wear the gear type that drops (Cloth, Leather, Mail, Plate) have priority over those that do not. And this applies to Needs and Greeds.

6. BOE items are obtainable via Mainspec roll only. There will be no offspec/fiddle roll for BOE items.

7. . Mainspec roll by a raider and a roll by an approved offspec have priority over mainspec roll by a recruit. Mainspec roll recruit has priority over fiddle rolls

Biggest changes are:

Increasing the amount of EP that is going to be going out to help compensate for inflated GP values in Cataclysm.

EP
On Time 500EP
Recurring 250 EP every 30 minutes
End Time 500EP

Also some stuff on fiddling. Basically please do not try and exploit the system. If the consensus is that you are trying to cheat the system you will be charged double full GP on that item.

Also you must have the mods installed during the raid to get loot.

Thanks I look forward to being your new lootmaster/attendance tracker/cheerleader! go team go!!!!!

ps yes as a cheerleader I am easy if anyone is free after the raid, met me behind the auction house in SW

re: Roll Priority

0
There has been some confusion regarding loot priority. In future raids this will be the loot distribution priority

Main Spec Roll Raider > Approved Offspec Roll Raider > Main Spec Roll Recruit > Fiddle Roll

At this time the only people with approved offspecs are the tanks, Daut and Hitzuguya

As always we will promote recruits once they have shown the can full fill the requirements we demand for their raid roll and once we have found them to have the personality and individual motivation required of raiders in the guild.

Verbatim addition to the main post is listed below:

7. Mainspec roll by a raider and a roll by an approved offspec have priority over mainspec roll by a recruit. Mainspec roll recruit has priority over fiddle rolls.
