I ticketed and got a form response from a GM saying that it wasn't intended, but they didn't know what caused it, and they weren't going to give the xp back. Just FYI for anyone else who lost 600,000 xp on it...

1. Get 25 daily quests done ready to turn in.
2. Upgrade to Cataclysm.
3. Turn in 25 daily quests.
4. ???????
5. Find out that you don't get any experience for the daily quests.

I couldn't help but think (and laugh) of all the people turning in their daily quests, only to find out they get 0 XP for them (at least until they fixed it).
